Please read these terms and conditions carefully, if you do not agree with them, do not use this website. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. By using the spoilthorse.co.uk website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms.
We will endeavour to provide uninterrupted, error free access to the website, however this can not be guaranteed due to the nature of the Internet. Occasionally your access may be suspended or restricted for maintenance; we will ensure that this is for the shortest time possible.
The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes or for contacting you if we have a query. When placing an order to purchase goods from The Spoilt Horse Company, you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order and the order details. A contract between you and The Spoilt Horse Company, will only take place once the order has been accepted, processed and items despatched, at which point your credit/debit card will be charged.
These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as do we, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
All products offered for sale by The Spoilt Horse Company are priced in Pounds Sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. Any customs or import duties due when your package reaches its destination country will be your responsibility. Occasionally, despite our best endeavours products appear mispriced; however we verify prices as part of our order confirmation email. If the correct price is lower than that promoted we will always charge you the lower amount and send you the product. If the correct price is higher, we will either contact you to advise you and request instructions before despatch or cancel the order and notify you accordingly.
Special Order Items
All items ordered specially such as those sourced outside our usual stock, those with personalisation or custom made body protectors are non-returnable. Cancellation must be made within a week of placing the order and this MUST be done by telephone on 01208 831817 as well as in writing (e-mail or letter).
CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - The fastest way to pay for immediate despatch (stock dependant). We accept all major credit cards (excluding Diners Club Cards and American Express). Cards are not debited until goods are despatched. Any purchases less than £10 will incur an additional 50p charge.
CHEQUE - Please allow 10 working days for your payment to clear. Cheques should be made payable to Barguse
GIFT VOUCHER - Vouchers can only be redeemed via post or in store.
We accept online payments through a secure environment by credit or debit card and transactions are shown in Pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution.
Offers & Promotions
Please note that when participating in our offers or promotions, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Multi-buy promotions including buy one get one free and 3 for 2 offers will only apply to the items stated and must be purchased within one transaction.
If free postage is offered, it applies to a Standard Delivery only and excludes quoted and overseas deliveries. Minimum order value of £75 will be required to qualify for postage offers.
You can redeem your Promotion codes by entering it in the supplied field at checkout and then click the 'apply code' button. Where you use a valid promotion code, the following additional terms and conditions apply on the discounts:
- Promotion codes will only be available within the conditions stated in the offer
- Promotion codes are only valid until the date published
- Only one Promotion code may be used per customer per transaction.
- We reserve the right to end or amend any promotions at any time including prior to the advertised end date without notice.
If you decide to return an order that has been purchased with a discount code applied, the amount refunded will be subject to the minimum spend of the discount code. This means that if the items returned bring the remaining total below the minimum spend of the discount code then the discounted amount will be deducted from the refund. For example, a 20% discount (with a minimum threshold spend of £60 – excluding the delivery charge) will be removed if the returned Product(s) returned brings the total order value below £60.
Returning an order with a free postage discount (which has not been provided as a code) will not affect the refund value.
Please send return to the address on the invoice marking the package “Return”. If you are returning the item for any other reason apart from defects in the goods, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend that you use a “Signed For” service as responsibility for the goods will remain with you until we have signed for the goods.
NOTE: Soiled or damaged goods will not be refunded or exchanged. If a returned item is soiled or damaged on its arrival to us, we will advise you by email and it will be your responsibility to have the item returned to you.
If you return an item to us within 14 days in perfect condition, complete with the original packaging, we will be happy to exchange or refund you with the original price. We do not issue refunds on the P&P charges. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please note the following cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty: Personalised and Special order items, DVD's, CD's, Videos, Underwear and Computer software. Personalised and Special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed.
If you wish to return an item please ensure it is carefully packed and enclose a covering letter. We recommend goods are insured whilst in transit as The Spoilt Horse Company. will not be held responsible for any goods that are not received or damaged in transit. Exchanges will be liable for additional carriage charges unless the original product was faulty or damaged.
PLEASE NOTE: We are happy to issue a refund on Sale items except for underwear or personalised/special order items at the Sale price it was originally purchased for. The P&P costs are non-refundable. Additional postage charges may apply.
Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974)
Please note: For Hygiene reasons, Underwear is non-returnable.
Goods ordered from The Spoilt Horse Company for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes; these will be levied once the parcel reaches its destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by you; we have no control over these and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. Contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.
Website Access Your Shopping Account
When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that your account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password. If you believe this information has become known to someone else or that your account is being misused contact us immediately.
When registering your details ensure that the information you provide us with is complete and correct and that you advise us as soon as possible should this change or you wish your details removed.
The Spoilt Horse Company reserves the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you and you will be notified immediately. The Spoilt Horse Company does not charge for items until they are ready to despatch.
The contents of the website may not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, sold, downloaded or distributed by any means to third parties without our express written consent.
You may copy or print details for the sole purpose of using the website while connected to the Internet.
You must not use the website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.
You must not use the website for fraudulent purposes, spamming or any unlawful activity.
The information contained in the website is for information purposes. The Spoilt Horse Company is not providing any recommendations or endorsements to any product or services promoted on the website. The material on the website does not constitute advice and you should not use the information on the website to make any decisions or take any action.

We can only deliver within the mainland UK on this website. We do deliver anywhere around the world, but you need to contact us with your requirements so we can quote you for delivery. * Please see below for specific information on international deliveries. For UK delivery we do not, as standard, guarantee delivery times but we aim to deliver most items within 2-3 working days provided they are in stock. We cannot leave parcels without a signature, so please leave an alternative address in the comments section so we can deliver if you are not at home.
For items weighing less than 2KG, these are normally sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed for service.(Standard delivery charge) This is a tracked service with signature required and normally will take 24 hrs. However this is not guaranteed and can take longer at certain times. (Mainland UK only. Orders to Northern Ireland, some regions of Scotland and the Outer Islands will take longer.) Please select Standard delivery service.
All items over 2KG are shipped by courier and are guaranteed to be delivered within 24 hours for mainland orders or 48 hours for Northern Ireland, some regions of Scotland and the Outer Islands. We also use Royal Mail Special Delivery service for items below 2KG in weight which will guarantee your item will arrive by 1pm the following day (Mainland UK) . For either of these options, please select the Express delivery option. If in doubt, please do call to discuss the options available.
Pick up in Store (UK only)
If you wish to collect your order from our store, please select this option. Normally most orders will be ready to pick up within four hours of placing the order but if you need it sooner please contact us before travelling. Please note that this option is not available for international customers unless you happen to be visiting our area and can physically pop in store, in which case we would be more than happy to meet you!!
We aim to despatch all goods from our warehouse within 1 working day of the receipt of the order. Occasionally at exceptionally busy times this may take a little longer. For orders that are over 2kg in weight and require shipping via courier, these will generally be dispatched the following day unless we can book the parcel in before the cut off time that is required.You will be notified by email if it is anticipated that delivery will take longer than our stated time. If you have any questions about the delivery of your order or require your order by a specific time then we advise that you contact us to check beforehand, please telephone 01208 831817.
- FREE Standard Delivery on online orders over £75
- All online orders over £75 will receive free standard delivery worth £4.95 (this offer applies to mainland UK deliveries only).
- Standard Delivery charges are £4.95 for orders under £75. This covers most of mainland UK and takes 3-5 days.*
- Premium Delivery charges are £9.00 for Next Day Delivery to most of mainland UK.*

As the size and weight of our items can vary significantly, we cannot process international orders through our website as we prefer to only charge what it actually costs us to ship them and the cost is based on the size and weight of the parcel! To get an accurate cost for shipping, we ask that you e-mail the list of item/s you are looking at purchasing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the country where you would like them to be shipped. We can then weigh them and send you a full breakdown of the cost of shipping and expected shipping time, the cost of any items with VAT reduced (if applicable) and you can then decide whether you wish to proceed with the order. If you do wish to proceed, we then forward an invoice via PayPal to your e-mail address which you can then pay by whatever means you prefer. Once payment is received, we will ship the items within one working day of receiving payment and forward the tracking details so you can follow the progress of your parcel.
