The Imperial Riding knitted breeches are the perfect fabric for kids to spend time in all day thanks to their soft, stretchy fabric. They feature a full silicone grip seat, front zipped pocket and embroidered Imperial Riding lettering on the right thigh. On the rear there are two further pockets with the left one embroidered with the IR logo. The flex closure legs ensure that boots are close fitting and there is the option to add a belt if you wished thanks to the belt loop.

Lisa’s notes: These a great breech for kids with all the features that they want these days but at an affordable price. The full silicon grip seat helps them feel secure in the saddle and there is enough detailing to keep even the fussiest diva happy! These are machine washable and we do advise following the manufacturer’s instructions but for those who don’t have the time to bother to read them then I have found that the following works for me and will help maintain the look of your breeches for longer.

Turn your breeches inside out and place in machine on either a quick wash or the equivalent of a hand, wool or silk wash. Add a capful of wool or silk wash (a generic supermarket brand will work as long as it is for woollens and silks) and then make sure the temperature is no higher than 30°. Once washed, hang up to dry naturally, not over a direct heat source or in the tumble dryer. That is the quickest way to wreck your silicon grip and embellishments! Some people ask if they can use non-bio washing liquid but I have found even that can fade your colour where as I have never had that issue with any of mine and I have had some of mine for years!

We have enclosed a size guide below because as with all EU countries there sizing tends to be based on the height of the child rather than the age which considering how different children can be with regards weight and height at certain ages seems pretty sensible logic! As you can see there are two sizes which represent the heights of children that the particular size would suit. The height is based on the measurement from the top of the child whilst standing to the floor.  We have enclosed the equivalent age this represents in the UK to help assist in choosing the correct size but would say that the height would be a better bet if you require any further information or help please do give us a call.
