Lisa's notes: I’ve used these head collars in the past alongside in hand training to help load difficult horses and have found them invaluable. I would definitely advise watching the above link to help with their use as they are not a cure-all for loading but if correctly applied are extremely beneficial. If you have a yard of horses then it’s worth keeping one in your tack room or lorry for those odd occasions when you may need it.
