The Milani is a long, functional jacket made of water-tight material with stand-up collar and continuous zip. The detachable hood can be adjusted thanks to the drawstring with stoppers and the cuffs have rubber Velcro straps to help adjust the width to keep out water and wind.  

This long, light parka has water-tight pockets; and the side pockets have a covered zip that barely makes the pockets visible. The additional, integrated pocket with a vertical zip is on the chest. There is a full-length two-way zip at the front and at the back, the jacket has a zipped vent which allows the jacket to open wider at the bottom, so that you can easily place the jacket across the saddle, keeping you warm and your saddle dry!

Finally, the elasticated leg straps help to prevent the jacket from lifting from your legs thus creating a very handy jacket to have at your disposal when the weather is inclement.

Lisa’s notes:  If you want a long; riding jacket that will withstand the worst of the elements then look no further than the Milani. This lightweight jacket is a world away from the old wax coats of old!

It has all the features you would want to keep you warm and dry whilst out riding, walking the dog or any other outdoor activity where you want to stay dry! It has a feminine fit and looks better worn than on the hanger.

My only moan is that there is no overlapping storm flap over the front zip so I’m not sure how dry you’d stay if there was an absolute deluge as potentially water could ingress via there but for normal showers and those in-between days, this is a great jacket especially as it can be easily transported around.
