A proper all-rounder that blends the look of a riding boot with the practicality of a country boot. The Mountain Horse Spring River boots are made from oily full grain leather, giving them a flexible, comfortable feel with a slightly vintage finish.
Designed with everyday use in mind, they offer waterproof protection up to a third of the shaft, making them a reliable option for yard wear, dog walks, and riding. The shock-absorbing sole and supportive fit keep them comfortable underfoot, while the rear YKK zip and hidden elastic panel allow for a more tailored fit through the calf.
Finished with a robust country-style outsole, these are a smart, practical choice if you want one boot that can do a bit of everything.

Lisa’s notes: These are a really good option if you want something that looks smart enough to ride in but is practical enough for everyday life. They’ve got a bit more substance than a standard riding boot, so they’re comfortable for being on your feet, and the grip on the sole makes a difference on the yard. A solid “one boot does it all” choice.
With regards sizing it is important to get the right fit so take your time to measure your leg correctly as with all boots these will drop a little over time so make sure you get a snug fit around the calf and the length.
When you first receive your boot and try it on, ideally you should feel the back of the boot sitting in to the lower part of the back of the knee when first worn, this is normal and we do recommend purchasing some heel lifters so these can be placed in the boot initially until the boot has dropped and thus attained the correct length whereupon the heel lifters can be removed.
We have included a size chart in the images and a fitting guide so you can see the different sizes and how to measure correctly.
