The Hy Unicorn No Fill turnout rug is made from 600 denier fabric with a rip stop and waterproof weave and 0g fill; making it ideal for those warmer days when you want to keep your horse clean and protected from showers. It has a twin front buckle fastening, adjustable cross surcingle straps to ensure ease of fastening; fillet string and leg straps to secure the rug; as well as a tail flap to help keep your horse comfortable and dry. The fun little unicorn pattern on the rug and pink outer piping is sure to appeal to all unicorn lovers of all ages!

Lisa's notes: Rugs have come a long way since my youth when turnout rugs were made from canvas material and cross surcingles were considered a true innovation! Now, each season we see a vast array of patterns and colours that will leaves the mind boggling. Though on the plus side, it is much easier to locate your rug at the yard now! This particular weight is ideal for using in the months when you don't require any weight but just want to keep your horse/ponies clean and protected from passing showers. We have used these on our riding school ponies which are not clipped or have just a minimum clip and find it is sufficient to keep them clean and dry. They have proved to be really quite robust (our ponies can be pretty tough on rugs) as they live out for most of the time and for the money represent good value and are ideal for those who want a lightweight turnout rug that will not break the bank.
