The Climatemasta 200g fixed neck liner is designed to attach to the outer Climatemasta rug so you can alter the weight of the rug and adapt it to any weather condition.
Add the Masta Climatemasta 100g fixed neck liner to make a 200g fill rug in total.
Add the Masta Climatemasta 200g fixed neck liner to make a 300g fill rug in total.
Add the Masta Climatemasta 300g fixed neck liner to make a 400g fill rug in total
The unique fastener system allows the inner lining to be attached once & used as one complete piece so you can just rug up and go. There is a waterproof section on the bottom of the liner which helps prevent it from absorbing splash ups.
The articulated full neck design incorporates a stretch panel for comfort and to relieve pressure on the wither & the red indicator lines on the liner ensure a correct fit into the outer rug.
In addition, it has an anti-rub lining which promotes a clean & shiny coat & shoulder gusset for an enhanced fit, allowing for freedom of movement & helping to prevent shoulder rub. It is made from channel quilted polyester fabric which is machine washable and allows you to remove the liner without the hassle of having to wash & reproof the whole rug each time.

Lisa’s notes: This liner is specifically designed to fit into the Climatemasta outer turnout rug which allows you to be able to alter your rug weights by just changing the inner liners! It means that you have less rugs blocking up your tack room and also less hassle when it comes to washing! You can wash your inner liner far more frequently without the hassle of having to reproof the outside (which is what you would need to do with conventional turnout rugs) which ultimately works out far cheaper over the long term! Once, you have attached your liner which is easy & quick to do, the rug works as one piece so makes life far easier when rugging up.
The weight of liners needed depends on each horse, the temperature & weather conditions; age & whether they are clipped or not. To give you a rough guide to what each liner plus the actual outer rug would do then see below. You can see how versatile it is!
Climatemasta 100g turnout rug: This rug is ideal for when you want to keep your horse clean & dry. It is great for cooler summer evenings or during the Spring/Autumn.
Climatemasta 100g turnout rug combined with 100g Climatemasta rug liner (to make 200g rug): Any rugs with between 170- 240g of filling are classed as a mediumweight.rug. They are often used at the start of the autumn & the end of the winter though some unclipped horses will manage with these rugs throughout the full duration of the winter. We tend to use this weight on most of our hairy riding school ponies which have just a bib or blanket clip!
Climatemasta 100g turnout rug combined with 200g Climatemasta rug liner (to make 300g rug): Any rugs with over 260g of filling; up to 400g tends to be classed as a heavyweight rug. These are perfect for clipped horses or those who feel the cold. The more filling the warmer it is!
Climatemasta 100g turnout rug combined with 300g Climatemasta rug liner (to make 400g rug): A super-heavyweight rug for those horses which have to endure extremely cold temperatures! We don’t tend to keep this liner in stock as a general rule as we never find we get asked for them that much. However if you would like one then please do call to check on delivery time.
