The JHL 250g fixed neck rug is the perfect middleweight rug to keep your horse cosy & warm!
It has a 600 denier rip-stop polyester outer & nylon lining.
It has 250g of medium thermal fibre fill which makes it perfect for the Autumn & Spring.
There are two adjustable front buckles with quick release clips, low cross surcingle belly straps, gusseted tail flap and removable leg straps.
In addition, it has reinforced anti-rub lining on the shoulders which promotes a clean & shiny coat & shoulder gusset for an enhanced fit, allowing for freedom of movement & helping to prevent shoulder rub.

Lisa’s notes: I've already used these rugs on a number of horses over the years and found they offer a good fit and value for money. I like the fact that they can be easily adapted! My preferred choice for front straps are those with clips as it saves lots of faffing about especially when you are wearing gloves! The particular beauty with these is that if the buckle gets broken, you can provide a temporary fix by removing the old clip and utilising the clips from old lead ropes (we keep all the clips off old frayed lead ropes for just these occasions) or if you have none of those handy you can just remove the broken clip and thread the strap through the D ring on the front to keep it secure. Either way, it means your horse still has a rug to wear until you can get a replacement clip sorted. You don’t need to send them off to be repaired!
We have found they are warm enough to take the majority of our horses through the winter even those with a clip though we are based in Cornwall where it tends to be wetter and warmer than the rest of the UK! They make an ideal rug for unclipped horses for the winter and those clipped horses that need a middleweight rug before the temperature really drops! They are also pretty tough and seem to be able to deal with the normal fracas in the fields though if you have a confirmed rug ripper then most rugs will struggle to cope with that and you will need to look at upgrading to the Bucas Smartex Combo rug!
