The Mark Todd lightweight pony rug is perfect for Spring or Autumn use, keeping your pony dry and comfortable.
It has a 600 denier ripstop polyester outer which is completely waterproof, Teflon coated & breathable. It has an inner cotton lining with no fill.
There are two adjustable front buckles with quick release clips, hook and loop style fastening on the chest, adjustable and removable leg straps and three D-rings for the optional neck cover. The low cross-surcingles ensure a secure fit whilst the gusseted tail flap helps keep out any draughts. In addition, it has an anti-rub lining which promotes a clean & shiny coat & shoulder gusset for an enhanced fit, allowing for freedom of movement & helping to prevent shoulder rub.
Colour: Purple/Grey

Lisa's notes: I really like the versatility and quality of Mark Todd rugs and have had numerous ones over the years. They have always been really tough and withstand the wear and tear of field life. One of the main features that I find useful is their front straps, they are not only easy to adjust but the quick release clips mean that they are easy to work with. In the middle of the winter when you don't want to be taking off your gloves, the clips mean no fussy fiddling with buckles. They also have the advantage that if the clips break that you can easily substitute them for another (we keep all the clips off the old lead ropes as a go too short term solution as replacements) and even if you have no clips then you can at least thread them through the D ring on the front so it means the rug is not redundant in use!
This rug has D rings on the neck so you can add a neck cover (purchased separately) when you want which gives you plenty of options. We use this weight rug on our ponies which are either unclipped or have a trace clip and find it is sufficient for them for the majority of the Autumn & Winter with us only needing to pop them in to heavyweight rugs in the coldest of days. Though we are in Cornwall where we rarely see snow or very low temperatures!
