The Grand Prix Glove incorporating REINTEX® is Woof Wears most versatile riding glove. It features a highly breathable pro-mesh back and REINTEX™ pore palm for great feel and grip.
Reintex® is a Japanese designed microfibre material which has been selected by Woof Wear for its superior properties which makes it especially suitable for riding gloves.
Light and Strong - The microfibres are more than 100 times thinner than silk thread and (weight for weight) have a greater tear strength than leather. This means that Reintex® can be thinner than leather without compromising durability.
Superb grip and feel - The slender microfibres give a comfortable and soft feel but also provide a fantastic grip as on a micro level a much greater surface area is in contact with the rein.
Breathable - Minute holes in the Reintex® allow water vapour to pass through keeping your hands free from perspiration.
Water Repellent - Water drops are too large to pass through the fabric and will simply slide off.
Stretch - The manufacturing process enables the fabric to have enough stretch to fit snugly without compromising grip.
Colours: Black, Navy & White
Glove Sizes: 6 – 9.5
Care instructions: Machine washable at 30 degrees. Gentle spin. Close the Velcro fastener. Use a non-bio washing detergent. Do not tumble dry. Do not leave in strong sunlight.
Lisa's Notes: I was particularly impressed with this glove thanks to the reintex material. This glove is invaluable for anyone riding or working in the wet as the grip it gives is as promised.
As a resident in the far southwest, we know a thing or two about rain and this glove certainly stands up to the foulest weather conditions, though still retaining a great feel. No more trying to grapple with wet reins on an over enthusiastic horse!!
I have got both the old version of these gloves and the new style, and they are equally as good. I wear them whether riding or teaching as our indoor gets particularly cold in the winter.
They are hard wearing and wash and wear extremely well. Sensibly priced, they are smart enough for everyday or competition.
To find out your glove size, wrap a tape measure around your knuckles and keep your hand flat. The length in inches indicates your glove size!
