Lisa’s notes: We have been seeing a growing trend for winter weight leggings over the traditional breech in the last few years. I can understand their popularity as many riders report they feel more comfortable in them and provide better mobility.

These have a soft brushed inner which helps keep the rider warmer in the colder months and the outer fabric is designed to repel dirt and the usual dust found in stables. In comparison to the traditional winter breeches, these don't have the thick feel of the Softshell fabrics which some people like and others do not.
