The Euro-Star Fabielle 2.0 short jacket features a feminine satin woven front and back. The quilted stitching is designed to create a flattering, feminine fit whilst the softshell side panels and under arms serve to elongate the body as well as give the wearer more freedom of movement.

It has a full-length two-way zip with overlapping storm flap and a detachable zipped hood with handy Velcro fastener on the rear to help keep it secured to the back of the jacket to stop it flapping when riding and not in use. The elasticated inner cuffs will keep the cold outside and create a seamless barrier between your gloves and sleeve ends.

There are numerous zipped pockets, both internal and external to keep all your essentials handy. The whole look is completed with the ES stylised horse head logo on the chest, branded zipper pullers and discreet print detailing that matches this season’s colour themes.

Lisa’s notes:  This attractive coat is ideal for riding, teaching, competition, or casual winter wear. It is the shorter version of the Fabielle long coat and has all the same features you would need to keep you cosy this winter with the overlapping storm flap on the front, elasticated storm cuffs and hood but minus the rear zipped vent!

It is listed as waterproof but as it doesn’t have taped seams as far as I’m aware, I would say that it is more likely to be water resistant. It is beautifully crafted and the combination of the softshell side panels and quilted satin fabric creates a luxurious look which is further reinforced with the pretty Rose Gold zip and matching ES logo. It’s the ideal jacket to take you through the winter and versatile enough to wear in the town and country.

Regarding size, I found that these jackets came up slightly smaller than the long version. The large fitted me around the middle but it felt very tight at the bottom and at the top of the sleeves so I would need to size up to the XL.

I normally take a UK size 14 in tops and jackets as I like to wear a thin base layer and sweatshirt or jumper under my clothing and have a large bust. We have provided a size chart for guidance and I would say that the lower size of the two given is the most accurate depending on your hips and bust size but if you still feel unsure then please do contact us for further help!
