The Euro-Star Kalua is a technical anorak style jacket with ultra-light Dupont padding, for warmth without weight. The outer shell is waterproof and breathable with taped seams and coated waterproof zippers, making the jacket excellent for harsh weather conditions. The specially, shaped sleeves and shoulders, give the rider, maximum movement whilst riding.

There is an attached hood with clever rear fastener that allows you to secure the hood to the rear of the jacket and adjustable cuffs to help keep out draughts.

There are two external zip pockets and one internal pocket to help keep your essentials close to hand, a shaped hem on the rear and the waistband can be drawn in for those who want a feminine fit.

The whole look is completed with Euro-Star heat transfer print on the chest and rear of the jacket for a smart, workmanlike look.

Lisa’s notes:  This sporty anorak style jacket has all the features of upmarket, premium outdoor wear. The Dupont lining is a synthetic version of down fill, so you have the warmth but it’s light in weight when you wear it and much easier to care for. Hence why this jacket is on the pricier side. The taped seams and waterproof zippers help to prevent rain ingress whilst the shaped hem and adjustable cuffs keep the jacket close to the body to reduce draughts.

They have not skimped on any of the details including adding another zip at the neck and chest area which allows you to take the jacket on and off with ease with your riding hat on. As well as making it extremely cool looking! It is a real work horse of a jacket (excuse the pun) and will last for years to come if cared for correctly, making it well worth the investment.

Regarding size, I found this came up quite small compared to other jackets in the collection. I normally take a large but found it very small around the chest and tops of the arms so would advise sizing up. We have provided a size chart for guidance based on how we found it fit but if you still feel unsure then please do contact us for further help!
