The Imperial Riding Helsinki is a warm; water and windproof jacket with feminine tailoring, a detachable hood and high collar with soft fleece inside. It sports a fancy two-way zipper and has handy internal and external zipped pockets to keep your belongings close to hand.

It is nicely finished with a hologram badge on the sleeve, colourful lining, contrast striped cuffs and a round shaped hem on the rear to keep your bottom warm.

One unique detail of this jacket is that internally there is two straps that means that you can carry your jacket around rather like a back pack or bag; leaving your hands free and to save you having to pack it in a bag if not in use!

Lisa’s notes: This jacket represents great value for money. It has all the features you would want in a winter jacket and is simply styled to appeal to all ages.

At first I wondered what use the two straps were on the inside but I have to say that they do come in to their own when the rider is warm and they wish to remove it without the hassle of literally carrying it in your hand or stuffed in a bag. It solves the issue of what to do when your riding and hot.

Just slip off the actual jacket but keep the straps on like a backpack and bingo, you can continue riding without the hassle of what to do with the jacket. This is especially useful when out hacking and the weather is changeable; and you want to be able to adapt your layers.
