The Imperial Riding Walker boots are the perfect starter boot for those juniors wanting to make the transition from short boots to long ones! They are made from a combination of leather and synthetic leather and have a two-way stretch for a comfortable fit and an anti-slip grip on the calf.

The rear of the boot has a full length zip for ease of access with a popper zipper guard at the top and there are two spur rests on each side if needed. The dress style front means these are suitable for everyday riding or competitions and the rubber sole will withstand the general wear and tear of standing in stable bedding!

Lisa’s notes: I decided to stock these boots because I felt that the design and quality of them were very good for the price. As with many of the children’s riding boots these days, they are made from a combination of synthetic and real leather.

The advantage of this is that they sell at a lower price point and are therefore more affordable for most pockets but they are also easier to care for and more resilient regards the wear and tear that kids put them through.

The synthetic leather outer allows the boot to stretch and is more comfortable as a result and I like the anti-slip calf which helps keep riders more secure in the saddle. They are a really nice looking boot, perfect for those juniors who want the look of an adult boot!

We have included an image of the size chart for these boots. When measuring your child, make sure they are wearing their normal breeches and riding socks.

Ask them to sit or stand with a slightly bent knee and to get an idea of height, measure from the floor to the back of the knee.

Then take the tape measure and measure around the widest part of the calf.

Check your child’s foot size against the rest of the measurements in the chart. Please note that with all long riding boots, they will drop over time at the ankle so to get the optimum fit your child may complain on trying them on that they can feel them cutting in at the back of the knee when they bend their leg.

If this is the case then we suggest purchasing some heel risers to put in the boots until they have dropped when they can then be removed. However, please feel free to contact us if you require any further assistance or measurements.
