The KEP Helmet Cromo B Matt Black is great hat for all riding disciplines. This helmet is a smart addition for all riders whether for use every day or competition. The KEP Helmets provides the best air ventilation systems on the market allowing the rider’s head to stay cool in hot conditions. They are also one of the safest helmets for riders whilst providing a beautiful style. The ventilation system works by air entering the helmet through the large front vent and the ventilation channels under the peak and passing all the way through to the adjoining panels which keeps the rider’s head cool during wear.

The interchangeable liner is also machine washable allowing the rider to wash or substitute for a clean liner when necessary. The liner can easily be clipped in and out and can also be changed in size when needed. The KEP helmets are extremely comfortable and due to the ergonomic design, they fit perfectly to the back of the skull to stop the helmet from slipping forward. This fitting style also allows the grip of the hat to be further up the skull meaning that less pressure is placed on the forehead which causes headaches or red pressure marks when worn for a long period of time.

All KEP helmets are equipped with short flexible peak, air circulation system, 5 connection point straps and inner removable and washable padding.

All KEP Italia riding helmets have 5 international safety certifications and are thus homologated worldwide. They hold PAS015, which is one of the requirements to compete from 2016 onwards.

Lisa's notes: If you're looking for a helmet that looks smart but also at the cutting edge of safety then this brand is one to consider. They are a clever concept as they are designed in two parts.

You have the tough outer shell which provides maximum protection to the rider. The shells come in two sizes, medium (fits 51-58cms) and large (59-61cms). The second part is the interchangeable lining inside the helmet which allows the rider to optimise the fit of the hat by just simply unclipping one liner and replacing it with another size. You don't have to replace the expensive outer shell!

This is the perfect solution for the child/teenager who wants a top helmet as it means that as they grow you can adjust the sizing by simply purchasing a larger liner. Or maybe you find that in the summer your head feels extremely hot, and you want a bit more room, then you have the option to do so!

From a hygiene point of view, if you buy a second liner, you can wash one whilst wearing the other! A good friend also pointed out that both her daughter and her could share one hat between them by just switching the liners which meant they both got a lovely helmet to wear.
