The Kingsland Kaikura is a long, padded jacket with sleeves and side inserts in softshell fabric for comfort and stretch. It has a two-way full length zipper in front with logo zip pull and reflective piping along the front and back of the sleeves.

There are two zip pockets and KL dressage logo on the chest and lower front. It’s an ideal coat for training, teaching or every day wear.

Lisa’s notes: Everyone needs one of these jackets in their wardrobe and I admit that I’m fortunate to have several! They are so cosy yet smart and I wear mine for teaching in (our indoor gets positively freezing in the winter) and have another that I always wear on the school run when I spend an inordinate amount of time waiting for my kids to emerge.

This particular jacket has a zip on the inside of the collar with a hood tucked inside for those times when you need one! They are not heavy to wear and are fully machine washable.

The softshell inserts mean they give a degree of stretch in the arms and sides though I did find that I needed a large size unlike the Moosonee where I easily fitted in a medium size.

I found this jacket was not as generous across the chest or at the top of the arms though I was wearing a tee and sweatshirt at the time so it depends on whether you are layer person who prefer just one base layer.
